The Knox County Humane Society is
in desperate need of
Pedigree dog food.
You
can
bring some by the shelter, or purchase it at either The Village Market
in Gambier or at the Central Ohio Farmers Corp in Mount Vernon and a
KCHS volunteer will make sure it is delivered to the shelter.
We are also looking for volunteers for Bingo on Thursday evenings and
Sunday afternoons!

National spay and neuter day Feb 26
In
April of 2012, on a single business day, the Knox County Humane Society
took in 99 kittens. To avoid this situation in 2013, the Board and
Staff of the Knox County Humane Society are asking for your help; would
you be willing to sponsor spay or neuter surgeries during the month of
February? Your $25.00 surgery sponsorship will be applied to one female
cat or two male cats. The cat's owner will be asked to pay a small fee
of $10.00 to cover the remaining costs. Every dollar collected will be
applied to suregery costs.
Rabies Clinic: May 11th at the Health Deartment 10-2pm. Prices will be
$10 for a 1 year Rabies shot and $15 for a 3 year shot 3 YEAR SHOTS
AVAILABLE BUT YOU MUST BRING THE RABIES CERTIFICATE FROM THE PREVIOUS
VACCINATION, AND THE VACCINATION MUST NOT BE EXPIRED. CATS MUST BE IN A
CARRIER AND DOGS ON A LEASH. We are also doing microchips for $20.
