LOW COST SPAY/NEUTER CLINIC
This public, low-cost clinic is open Monday and Thursday every week for cats. At this time, we are concentrating on cats only because of their overpopulation in this area. For information on low-cost spay/neuter surgery for dogs, please contact our office for a list of near-by facilities.
Pre-registration and payment is required before your animal(s) is scheduled for a surgery date.
Please fill out the form below with your and your animal's information and send it to sheltera@yahoo.com. We will get back to you with the estimated surgery costs.
You will not get a surgery appointment assigned to you until the surgery fees are paid.

ABOUT OUR CLINIC
The KCHS-CATS Public Spay and Neuter Clinic serves Knox county and the surrounding central Ohio region with a low-cost option for responsible pet owners to affordably take care of their pets. Spay and Neuter is the single most important tool we have to combat pet overpopulation in a humane manner. It also prevents some life threatening conditions such as pyometra (infection of the uterus) and mammary cancer.
Our full-time shelter veterinarian performs High Quality, High Volume Spay and Neuter (HQHVSN) at our facility two days a week using the latest in HQHVSN care including small incisions and short anesthesia times, minimizing complications.

Just because we perform many surgeries every day, doesn't mean that we cut corners taking care of our patients! We still make time to make sure everyone has a good experience!
