
Heather Posey: Office Manager
Heather
is our Office Manager. She grew up on a pig farm with lots of dogs
and cats. She has a degree in computerized office technologies and is a
great addition to our team. She has a 5 year old daughter who loves to
visit the shelter and play with all the animals.


Dr. Brian Wennerstrom: Vet
Dr. Brian Wennerstrom grew up in Canal Fulton, Ohio. He graduated from Hiram College in 1994 and
The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. He practiced large animal medicine for 9
years, then 1 1/2 years in industry. In
August 2010 he began working for the Knox County Humane Society. He mostly performs spays and neuters (about
1500 per year), and also some diagnostic and treatment service. He is a part of the Association of Shelter
Veterinarians, where he interacts with many vets around the country through
Email discussion. Dr. Brian is married
to Marnita, and they have four boys ages 8, 6, 4, 2, and one girl born in May
2012.


Kelly Glancy: K-9 Caretaker and Rescue Wagon Coordinator
Kelly
has been with KCHS for 7 years. She is our K-9 person.
If anyone has a question about a dog Kelly has the answer. Kelly is
also a huge
help with Rescue Wagon getting all the dogs ready for transport and
making sure
the paperwork is all ready for them. Kelly is working on getting
certified to temperment test and has taken over the role of Rescue
Wagon Corrdinator.Kelly has been married for 10
years, is a mother of 3 and has 3 grandchildren. She has 6 dogs, 3 cats
and 2 fish.


Dee Gorley: Feline Caretaker
Dee
has been with KCHS for 2 years. She is our Feline person.
She can tell you anything you want to know about our cats. She is also
our
runner she goes and gets all the supplies that help us run day-to-day.
Dee has been married for 18 years. She has 3 horses, 6 cats and 6 dogs.
