JuneBug a.k.a. Wilson

After visiting KCHS several times, that one kitten kept sticking in my mind. He was always so energetic and fun. If I got down on the floor, he'd climb right up my back, across my shoulder, and rub my face with his. When I finally decided he the one for me, I returned with great resolve, only to discover that he was in sick bay with a bad cold. Next visit, he was still sick, but this was actually a good thing because the cat rescue lady would have taken him if he had been healthy. One more trip, and the gals at KCHS decided Wilson could come out of sick bay. He was so excited to be out, he just ran back and forth inspecting everything till he finally noticed me. He jumped on my back, started purring, and wouldn't get down. The rest is history!

Now several months have passed. JuneBug is just the perfect cat - even my husband says so, and he's not usually a cat person. Junie is just so personable and full of energy. We laugh at his crazy antics daily. Junie now has a new best friend in addition to us. Our rescue dog, Hazel (aka Jasper). The two of them play together and sleep together. Its quite a sight to see.

Thank you, KCHS, for giving JuneBug such great care until we found him. He is so well socialized, that had to come from the loving care and attention you and your volunteers gave him, and all the other cats at KCHS. You are doing a terrific job.

Sincerely,
Kathy Moore
