Adult Volunteers should complete the standard
If you are under the age of 18, you will need to complete the Child Volunteer Application as well as the Parental Consent Form below
Foster Parents Needed! Could You Foster?
In spring, the KCHS shelters are often flooded with mother cats with new-born kittens or orphaned kittens too young to adopt. While the shelters can accommodate some of these animals, we also need people who are willing to foster the “overflow” until they are large enough (3 pounds for kittens) and old enough (8 weeks) to be spayed or neutered and adopted. We also need fosters for adult animals that may be overly shy or need
further socialization before they can be adopted.
Have Just a Little Time?
Even if you only have a little bit of spare time, you can still be a valued volunteer. Perhaps you could foster kittens at home.
