family with cat

Note: We do verify with landlords of renters that a pet in the home is permitted. Please be prepared to provide landlord's name and phone number. Verification must be made BEFORE the adoption can be approved and cat goes home. (This may mean that if we cannot get hold of landlord, the cat will not be able to go home that day.)

Cat and Kitten Adoptions

All cats are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia, given rabies and other feline vaccinations, and treated for worms, fleas, and ear mites. We have short hair and long hair cats, all breeds and colors, and some are declawed. All make great companions. Kittens may be adopted for $55.00 and adults may be adopted for $45.00.

Charis

Lonely Hearts Club

Week after week they watch visitors come and go, hoping this time someone will notice them. Maybe they greet you as you walk in the front door, or perhaps they watch from behind the door or from a high perch in the next room. They are the discarded pets and the homeless strays; the forgotten cats in the "Lonely Hearts Club."

Special Needs Cats

These cats need unique people who will take time for a cat with a special need. Cats in this group may be blind or deaf, may have had an eye or leg removed, may have been abused or never touched by a human. Some are just getting on in years. We adopt special needs cats for $25.00.

Barn Cats

Adult cats are placed in barn situations, which have been evaluated to ensure that adequate housing and food will be available. Many cats enjoy living outside working on farms as rodent control. Adoption fee is $25.00.
